In case you didn't know...

Football can be a confusing and often vexing concept, especially for us lady folk!

But hey, at least you can throw a rad themed party! Am I right ladies?

Re: In case you didn't know...

  • I don't get football at all, but I loved throwing Super Bowl parties.
  • I just like it for the beer, wings, chili cheese dip, and little weenies.

    "I DO NOT love that you think so many things revolve around you.  I know you're bitter.  I get it.  But I'm over your feelings." The best person on the internet ever!
  • Sorry! I thought the clicky part was noticeable. My bad!

    @seahorse01 I know! He's a douchecanoe.

  • I should add that when I say I don't get football, I mean I don't understand the appeal of the game. I under stand the concept of it, I enjoy going to my little cousins' games and such. (Usually sneaking in a thermos of hot chocolate and Bailey's) in fact, I have even gone to a professional game and enjoyed the atmosphere! I get why other people enjoy it, it is just too slow for me. I don't really feel any sort of way towards a particular team, but I know people get really in to it just like I do with hockey. Tailgating is really fun and I like that bit!

    Oh yeah, that's understandable, and I feel that way about other sports as well. I mean, I've tailgated soccer games and it can be hard for me to get the appeal at times.

    There's also nothing wrong with loving the atmosphere even if a person doesn't understand what the game is about. The article is just awful because it assumes that women don't understand the game at all, don't care to, but should care about having the perfect food for guys who should/do understand the sport.
