We are at our 187 day mark so getting ready to make reservations next Sunday! Where did you stay? What were your favorite restaurants? Must do activities/restaurants/anything? Things you wouldn't do again or wish you didn't do?

We stayed at Ft. Wilderness campgrounds in the cabins. Liked it a lot but had some cons too.

Favorite restaurant: Ohana. Well it wasn't dd's favorite, but we loved it. We had a late dinner there out first night and could see the fireworks some from restaurant.

Favorite dessert: I think it was called Tony's? It's in MK up front and is from Lady and the Tramp. Had lunch there which was pretty good. My dessert was great and adorable (was cheesecake with cocoa powder design of lady and tramp on plate). But I've heard dessert changes and friend who went didnt get same choice.

Favorite character meal: the place in Epcot in Norway (can never spell it: Arkershus?) great princess meeting opportunities! We also liked Cinderella dinner at Grand Floridian as an alternative to the castle.

Activities for us focused mainly on meeting princesses! We had several park days so there really isn't anything more we wish we did except meet Pocahontas (she is hard to find).

Things we didn't really love: Hollywood studios was pretty boring IMHO. The Littke mermaid show was good but that was it. I remember disliking HS as a kid too! There were a couple things we would have liked to do there but timing didnt really work out.

I know some people don't like Epcot for kids but it was a great place to go around and meet princesses so it was fun for dd.

That dessert is so cute, April!!

We don't go until October, so I can't give any reviews, but here are the restaurants I have reservations for: Be Our Guest, Mama Melrose (fantasmic dining package at HS), Chef Mickey's, Tusker House at AK, Crystal Palace at MK, TRex Cafe (for our arrival day, we're just going to do downtown disney, I didn't want to commit to a park that day since we won't get in until late morning)

we're staying at the Art of Animation.

We're going in October too--so I can only give you our plans. We're staying at the Art of Animation in a Lion King Suite. We don't get in until the afternoon, so our plan is to eat dinner and explore the hotel and relax. Sunday Morning we'll get up bright and early for breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, then we're going to try Be Our Guest for a quick serve lunch--fingers crossed that works out.

That night there is a Disney Junior Dance Party at Hollywood Studios (extra magic hours) I think we're going to try that, and that will determine if we go back there later in the week.

At Animal Kingdon we're doing Tusker House--and if you book your lunch between 1-1:40 you get a ticket to the 3:15 showing of Finding Nemo, so you don't have to wait in line.

At Epcot we're doing Akershus and our second day at Magic Kingdom we're doing dinner at Crystal Palace.

Thursday we may go back to one of the parks, but we'll likely just hang out at the hotel. Then we're doing dinner at the t-rex cafe in downtown disney.

We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Although not totally kid friendly, we loved Jiko-The Cooking Place in AKL. We ended up there one night when it was raining and we just wanted to relax. It was amazing.

Coral Reef, we ate lunch there on our last day it was awesome.

Hollywood Studios:

Sci-Fi Dinner Theater which is neat, it is like a drive-in with bad old movies playing

50's Prime Time Diner, delicious fried chicken

Brown Derby- it was okay, a bit overrated in my opinion

Downtown Disney:

Fulton's Crab House

Boardwalk:

Big River Grill & Brewing Works(no reservations)

Flying Fish Cafe

Magic Kingdom:

Crystal Palace (Pooh breakfast)

i am terrible at remembering names of places... but here are a few of the places we ate while we were there (we stayed at Old Key West)
Crystal Palace (Pooh dinner)
1900 Park Fare (Cinderella Dinner, at the Grand Floridan resort)
50's Prime Time Cafe (i enjoyed my dinner, and s'mores dessert. Plus the decor was right up my alley)
Akershus (princess breakfast, really liked the food here)
Coral Reef (K had a delicious dessert here)

I agree with Kris, for the price, Brown Derby was just ok. I actually liked Mama Melroses better.

We scheduled the Prime Time Dine In for this fall, I'm hoping I'll like it.

I love both Kona Cafe and Ohana at the Polynesian.

For a grown up night out, Steve and I love Victoria & Albert's. You need a sitter though, as kids under 10 aren't allowed there.

We stayed at Beach Club and love it. We're going with friends in Nov and totally disappointed that we have to stay somewhere else.

My must visit restaurants are:
Cinderella's Royal Table - great food and experience e

Akerhaus in Norway- lunch was in edible, seriously, but we love the princesses. This time we're having breakfast there which I've heard is good. Still going back for awesome princess experience.

Flying Fish and LaCellier - seriously super delicious!

Chef Mickeys - breakfast only but great visit with the Fab 5

Coral Reef - pretty good food, my kids love the aquarium

This time I'm excited to add Be Our Guest (dinner), Disney Jr Hollywood & Vine (breakfast) and the new wine bar Tutto Gusto in Epcot Italy.

Beaches and Cream at Beach Club just for shakes is great.

Other fun things we love -
We always spend a night at Downtown Disney. The best gift store World of Disney is there. (We also love Wolfgang Puck's quick service place in DD).

The boardwalk is a nice spot to walk around, especially in the evening. Loved taking the ferry from Beach Club to the boardwalk (also goes to rear Epcot entrance).

HS is kinda boring for the kids besides Toy Story and Disney Jr. We only spent 1/2 day there. Epcot fav ride was Nemo and Seas and Turtle Time with Crush. S loved everything in Magic Kingdom... We spend by far the most time there.
