I usually don't work on Wednesdays, so I keep feeling like it's Thursday. Which on one hand it's good because it gives me one more day to get more crap done around here. But on the other, it's no fun thinking Friday is tomorrow and it's two days away.

I miss my co-worker and I totally understand why sometimes I can hear him slamming things around on his desk when he talks to people, they are idiots. This especially applies to our salesmen. Holy needy batman!

We are doing training in September and we had a little meeting to discuss. I was going to do box lunches from Market District and one of them was complaining that it isn't enough food. Um, it is a sandwich, salad, cookie, and ice tea. This isn't an all you can eat buffet. Plus we will have donuts in the morning and cookies in the afternoon. No one wants to help plan, but they can sure criticize what I do.

I normally handle all the middle of the night wake-ups from the kids during the week and dh does the weekend ones. DD was crying last night and dh got up to go check on her and I for the life of me could not remember what day of the week it was. I was totally thinking it was Friday because he NEVER gets up if it's not his night. Imagine my disappointment when I realized it was going to be Wednesday.

work is slow. so slow that I am bored of the internet. i have one "project" to work on, with no deadline, which requires use of a cumbersome system I hate using. I feel guilty when I ignore it and yet still find little motivation to complete it (cause then there is nothing in my queue to work on). It is the biggest work rut I have ever been in. However, this morning I completed 2 of the sub tasks and have set a personal goal of doing two more before the day is out. which is not asking a lot from me aside from trying to stay focused. If I manage that, only 4 tasks will remain and perhaps I will suck it up and finish by the weeks end. perhaps.

Kris, I do boxed lunches a lot! Tell them that they can suck it. One of the good things about being the one that you get to choose what is served!

I hate that it is so cold in my building! It is so warm outside this week and I want to wear my summer clothes since summer is almost over but I freeze. I freeze all winter...I want to be warm in the summer! And I can't understand why they do this. It's more expensive for them to crank the AC so much!! Not to mention how many times it breaks for overuse! Stop using it so much!

Today is Gavin's first day of 1st grade! Wow - time is flying. He was a mix of nervous and excited - he wanted to skip breakfast. LOL It's only a half day, though, so I pick him up at 11 and then the school is doing a lunch at a local restaurant to meet more people.

DH's schedule is so whacked out that I don't even remember what time I wake up either for him or to feed Sean anymore. I haven't had more than 5 hrs straight of sleep in a long time. I feel like I'm working on steam most days.

And I can't , for the life of me, figure out the internet setup I have here at the house. Some days I can run both my work laptop and personal one at the same time. Other days, I lose internet connection. It's frustrating since I need my personal one to scan / print docs that I need for work. I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and contact IT to get them to help me connect my printer directly to my work computer. I just dread losing 2 hrs of my life for that one.
