Beer!

This isn't going to convince me to start drinking it anytime soon, mainly because I don't like the taste, but it is kind of interesting.

Whether or not you find your own way, you're bound to find some way. If you happen to find my way, please return it, as it was lost years ago. I imagine by now it's quite rusty.”

  • I need a beer float.

I love beer so much, and I'm happier now knowing that Guinness is a light beer.  MORE FOR ME!

I guess if you put ice cream on it, it would not longer be a light beer.  Problem solved.  YW

  • I love this. DH is a homebrewer and my favorite daydream of late is chucking the day job and opening a craft brewery. I think it could actually happen.

  • They were missing one important reason: Work.  We have a local hole in the wall place in Portland, ME that has 70+ beers on taps, mostly local and craft stuff.  This summer they had a Lavender Lemonade Mead that was amazing.  The food is also amazing, it's time to make a trip soon.

"The former prime minister of Australia once set a beer chugging record. As a student at Oxford, Bob Hawke downed a yard of ale in 11 seconds; he claims the feat endeared him to the beer-drinking community and earned him new constituents."
Okay, I really don't know enough about Australian political history to know this story, but I've been to that pub in Oxford with an Australian friend who did.  They have a sign up about it.

Incidentally, it's the same pub where Clinton "did not inhale!"  (They had a sign up for that one too.)

So if you ever want to become the leader of an English-speaking country, apparently you need to go to Oxford and do something questionable at that pub!

  • I like hard apple cider so much more then beer. But there are a few beers that I do like - Sam Adams, Blue Moon... most Colorado Brews.

  • Do any of you use Untappd? It's an app that lets you track the beers you've had and rate them.
