Cold feet/second guessing normal?
We are set to close on a new build in a few weeks. We love the house. It's beautiful. We searched for about 6 months before we decided to build. We had our wants prioritized and had to weigh and pick and choose which wish items we wanted more than others. Basically our hard decision was a huge house, less expensive, in a suburban neighborhood or smaller home (still bigger than our first home), better quality, semi custom, more expensive, in a more country like setting. We went with the more country feel type neighborhood which was the main thing that won us over. Now that we're near the end, I've noticed that I've been wishing we had a bit more space in the house. This feeling scares me. We are going through with this house. It's beautiful. I got to pick my dream cabinets, counters and backsplash in the kitchen. But I can't help but be bothered by these thoughts of maybe we should have gone bigger. If we would have though it couldn't have been in this neighborhood. Thoughts of doubt normal? Ugh, this ride has been such an emotional roller coaster!!!
