I have 1 on the back of my neck. It's a crown of swirls with 5 points and each point represents a person.

I don't have any yet, but I've been thinking about getting one for awhile. I want an anchor with the word hope. It represents my home state (hope is the motto for RI and there's an anchor on the flag), plus I like the strength and good luck the anchor represents. I just haven't figured out where I want it.

I have two. One on my shoulder that I got with my dad. Jiminy Cricket, dad got basically the same tattoo, just a bit simpler. The second one is on my ankle, it's my dads signature along with a flower. He always called me his delicate little flower (somewhat sarcastically).

I have a rose on the left side of my back. I got it when I was 17. Looking back I probably wouldn't have gotten it. You can see it when I wear a bathing suit.

I have not gotten one yet but I been wanting one for a long time, I just got to get up the courage to get it and make sure its okay by the dr. I want an anatomical heart on the inside of my wrist to represent all the struggles I have and will have with my heart defect.

@melissa51212- the hlhs baby I take care of her mother has her heart rhythm strip tattooed in the inside of her wrist.

I have 5. One on my wrist, one on my neck that says "hope love faith dream", I have a palm tree on my side pretty much where your bra strap is, and then I have one on my lower side near my hip that says 'Krasna' which means beautiful in Czech with some pretty scrolling design, and then I have a little pretty pink flower on my front hip area. That was my first.

I don't have any, but there are 3 that I have wanted since I was 16...I just usually chose to spend money on travelling instead of tattoos.

I want a large block cross under my right shoulder blade, a llama head made out of just horizontal lines on the back of my neck and a blue star on my right ankle. Each one has strong significance to me.

I have 2 tattoos a butterfly on my right shoulder blade, and a tattoo everyone says you should not get I have my husbands name on my left hip with a heart after it.

I have two that were both done when I was 19. One is a small script A on my right hip. The other is of three music notes on my right foot. I danced from the time I was 4 until I was 19 so I got the music notes to represent that. I think about getting another but I haven't yet.

My first was the Arabic word for beautiful (Jameelah) on my right foot which is the word my name is derived from. But it was backwards and it always bothered me so I got it covered up with an olive tree and a dove plucking a branch. I loved the idea of extrapolating that story to the source of God's promises. If you look REAL CLOSE you can see the old tattoo disguised towards the bottom of the roots
