I just finished this yesterday and I'm dying to have a SP discussion on all the twists and turns and the ending since all the recent posts have been SP free.
I wasn't that surprised by the twist halfway through when you find out about the diary but what did freak me out was the depth of Amy's crazy. I listened to this book and the narrator was amazing and made Amy sound extra super crazy.
I wasn't that outraged by the ending. I feel really bad for that kid but as awful as they are together, they both need that.

I didn't realize how cray-cray she was either, but like you, I feel sorry for the kid, but wasn't really surprised that they stayed together at the end. To me, it felt like they already knew everything horrible and bad about each other so if you can handle the worse, you can handle the best. That may be a little morbid, but like I said, I wasn't surprised.
