Yesterday morning my apartment manager told me they would be working on my plumbing to improve the water pressure or whatever. When I got home last night the plumbers were still there. I walked into my apartment and my books...MY BOOKS were all over the floor because my bookshelf was next to the wall where the fuse box is located (I had no idea...minor detail) and they needed to move it to shut off the power. Well instead of taking the books off the shelves and putting them in stacks, my shelves COLLAPSED and books were ALL OVER THE PLACE.
It took me two hours to get everything sorted and I couldn't find my copy of Goblet of Fire for over an hour. I also had several signed books from authors like Dave Eggers, Gayle Forman, JOHN GREEN, etc that were just thrown about. My copy of If I Stay has a bent front cover. All of my babies had been separated....it was the worst thing ever. If you follow me on Twitter, you probably saw my nervous breakdown last night.
My apartment manager seemed a bit...stunned that I was so upset. Probably because I cried and called him a Muggle to his face while I was trying to get my books back in order. He kept apologizing but I was too upset to accept it.
Oh yeah and now I have no water. That had no affect on me whatsoever until I needed to brush my teeth this morning. No worries, I just used water from inside my fridge so I'm minty fresh today.

OMG. That is just absurd that they would treat your property like that. I don't blame you for being so upset!
I do think it's hilarious that you called your property manager a Muggle.
