Weekend plans: tomorrow is my last day at work! Yay! But I am working both jobs tomorrow and Sunday I am working, which is fine by me because I like time and a half. Sunday we'll get ready to leave for vacation on Monday. Heading to Niagara Falls!
Raves: Going back to school for what I originally intended! I am stoked! I can't wait.
Rants: This week is dragging!
Rants: I didn't get enough work done this week so I had to bring work home and I cant find the charger for my work phone right now.
Weekend Plans: We are going to start working on the nursery. Today I am going to patch and wash the walls. Hopefully we will start painting tomorrow.
Rants: Obama and Biden are in town giving some sort of speech so I'm working out of a different office since most of the roads near work are closed for security. I can't find half the stuff I need in this office so it's taking 2x as long to get stuff done.
Oh and who put like 3 extra days on this week?
Raves: H is home! He's been working out of town. He's back out again Mon, but I get him for the weekend.
Weekend Plans: Working on the basement some more. We have to do a 2nd coat of paint on some of the trim, install the floor and new closet doors, and paint the built-in shelves. I'm hoping we can get it all done this weekend
Rants: We had a surveyer come out to stake out our property line because we want to plant some trees on one side of our yard. We got home yesterday to find some pink ribbons around our yard that made absolutely no sense with what we were told was our property. So H and I were worried about it all night, only to find out this morning that they didn't finish and are coming back to actually stake out the yard. The surveyer is a friend of H who is giving us an amazing deal, so I can't be too upset. I just wish he had given us a heads up that it wasn't done so that H and I didn't spend the night thinking our property was significantly smaller. Blah
Raves: It's Friday!... This week has dragged and I am so exhausted. Even though I'll be working on our renovation all weekend, at least I'll get to sleep in a little bit.
Rants: My week is also dragging! I thought it was Friday on Wednesday so these past two days have just seemed ridiculous! Also, H has been working even crazier hours, like going in on his day off. I hate that he's giving this much of himself to a company that doesn't care about him.
Rave: My next two weeks are 4 day work weeks.
WP: Not too much. General cleaning, grocery shopping. Hoping to catch up with some friends. Pick up the present for the shower I really don't want to go to.
Rants - None! I am having a great week and I hope it continues into the weekend!
Raves - Our roof is finally done!!!! We have been working on this darn thing for weeks and it is finally done. I am so proud of the hubs for doing it by himself (well with help from FIL & BIL) and it looks amazing. We are slowly checking things off of our "House To-Do List" and this was a big one! Next up, new siding in the spring! Can't wait
Weekend Plans - I am super excited about this weekend!! Today the hubs and I are going golfing (well, he's golfing, I'm driving the cart) and out to dinner. Tomorrow we are having a beach day with the dogs at Lake Michigan and Sunday I'll be making pasties. It should be a great weekend and I can't wait for H to get home so it can start
B-)This basically means summer is over.
Raves: At least both of my first weeks back at work are only 4 day work weeks...
Weekend plans: I am being a couch potato tonight and tomorrow morning. Tomorrow evening DH and I are going to a get together at a friends house. Sunday we will go to church and then who knows. I will probably be moody since it is my last day of summer break.
