TGIF!

Happy Friday!!
What do you all have in store for the weekend?

I work this weekend, but it should be pretty easy since it's with Interim and my 96 year old client. TV watching here I come!
I made it through the first week of classes! (Well, almost, I have class at 11). I don't think this semester will be too bad. I'm only worried about my A&P class.

DH's one cousin and her boyfriend are supposed to come over this weekend. They want to go watch the Little League games. Saturday&Sunday are the end of it. I'm kind of bummed because I can't go. Even though I don't really like baseball, it'd be fun to see the Championship games.

Re: TGIF!

  • I'm glad classes are going well, jlq!

We're working on wall project this weekend.  Mudding, taping, sanding, and cleaning.  FUN TIMES, I TELL YA.
  • Good Morning or almost afternoon here! I am rocking the sunglasses today, silly head. It is much better than yesterday. I am having some people over after work for a picinic. Should be a good time. Hopefully I am feeling 100% and can have a fruity beverage or two! Other than we don't have anything planned. I promised H that after lunch on Sunday me and him would use our pool. Probably house work and yard work on Sat.

JLQ: Let me know what movie you watch this weekend! I am an expert on Hallmark movies. I don't knwo why but I love them.

Joy: Wohooo! Good Luck with the wall.

  • Hey there. Happy Fri. It's been a really rough week. Between my freaking head and tough cases at work I am ready to be done. We are supposed to paint rooms at church tomorrow. I actually like painting but I am not looking forward to it.

Sorry I am such a downer this week it's one reason I haven't posted much. Here's hoping for a better week next week!

Jlq yay for classes going well. Has H started back I forget?

Joy good luck working on the wall this weekend!

Degrea boo the freaking headaches I hope yours improves quickly.

  • Degrea and Aggie I hope your headaches go away!! I couldn't imagine dealing with them for a week or two at a a time!

Joy - Good luck with the wall! Is the end in sight?

DH starts school on Monday! Well, technically he started Wednesday with in-service days, but the students don't start until Monday. I think he's more excited for this year since he has a better idea of what to expect.

  • Is the end in sight?  HAHAHAHAHA.

Okay, Jay has drywalled the entire wall and ceiling.  He wants to put a new sheet of drywall on top of the closets (hard to explain) and needs to repair the other walls in the room from the ceiling demo.  Then we're cleaning up the whole room.  That is my goal this weekend.

I do plan to mud the screws and seams in the hallway wall and ceiling, though.  The whole hallway and ceiling then has to be repainted.  Then we have to mud, tape and sand the room itself.

Holy eff, this project got really big.  We also realized we have quite the crack in our porcelain kitchen sink, too.  AWESOME.
