Sleep Progress...
in GP Moms
So last night Ava Nichol would not go to sleep. She is normally asleep by 830 at the latest. Well it was 1030 and I had tried everything. She was awake in her bed and I was done. I kissed her on the head and said it is time for night night, love you! I went and sat in the living room and waited for her to cry. 15 minutes went by and I could hear her moving around but no crying so I went to bed. She must have gone to sleep because I slept all the way until she was yelling at 7am.
I am so proud of my little girl for putting herself to sleep but we have been rocking her to sleep since she was born. I love cuddling and rocking and her falling asleep in my arms. It was a bittersweet moment for sure!
