Have you ladies seen this?

Do you think she overreacted? Who was in the wrong? They say it was a skating park but I guess it wasn't. I'm not sure what the truth is but I think she overreacted, obviously the skater didn't do it on purpose. Do you think charges should be put on her for hitting him?

Re: Have you ladies seen this?

  • That was a complete overreaction on her part. He didn't hit the kid on purpose and tried to make sure he was ok. I don't think any legal action is necessary, but I do think all children need to pay more attention, my kid included.

  • I agree with you @ alexisanna44. I asked about legal action because they asked that question on the news and I was curious what others thought.
  • I think she was out of line. He checked on the kid and wasn't acting reckless IMO. The kid and the skater could have been paying better attention, but mistakes happen. I think the mom should face charges. Even if the guy was totally in the wrong and being a jerk you can't react by hitting someone.

She clearly overreacted but honestly the skater deserves to be yelled at. I would have some very strong words for that guy if that was my kid. I have almost been knocked down by skaters several times and it is not okay!

  • I agree with Madeline.

The skater didn't do it on purpose and he tried to make sure the kid was okay. This lady upsets me. I get that she is upset maybe yelling was okay but in no way was punching him right.
  • It was an accident. I'd really like to know why a child that young/small was running around with no parent near them, especially in a public area.

The mom was way out of line, the skater stopped, helped the kid up and attempted to make sure they were okay. If he had been ignorant or rude it would be different. Honestly, if someone came up to me and hit me for running into their kid I'd probably press charges. Yelling is one thing, her kid did or could have been hurt and any parent should be mad about that.
