Our district doesn't start up until tomorrow, but I'm sure there were lots of kids getting on the bus this morning! cute picture parade time, let's go!!

He did tell me that he cried at school in the middle of the day because he missed me, but the teacher made him feel better. He was also upset because some other kid tried to steal his ninja turtle folder, but he got it back and we wrote his name inside of all of his stuff last night, so that made him feel better.

This morning I gave her the necklace with locket and our pics in and she LOVED it. I think that really helped!
Anyways it was a success. She got on the bus with no tears. And I only cried after she was on the bus. Goodness leaving her go on by herself was terrifying!!

So I asked dd how it was and she said it was awesome!!! I'm ready to cry tears of joy! I'm mentally exhausted from all the prepping and coming up with things to make it better for her. In so glad it was successful. Hopefully it continues
beyond today!
The only issue was that they do a morning snack at K. It's only half day and then she has lunch at after school. Well she ate her lunch for morning snack instead of her cereal bar...and then she didn't have lunch at lunch time! I tried to explain to her but she is confused! Hoping it doesn't happen again!
