We had hardwood floors installed and other than a swifer mop, how do you clean your floors?

We always vacuum first, then clean them with microfiber mop using Mrs. Meyer's or Sun & Earth products. Our mop looks sorta like this and is washable.

When you use products, do you use a mop as well?

Sorry for the dumb questions, never had hardwoods, and I don't want to ruin them.

Glad you posted it! We just ordered hardwoods for a postage stamp sized kitchen, and I've never had them before.

Yes, we spray the products and wipe using the microfiber mop. Then, we allow the floors to dry (with ceiling fans, it happens pretty quickly).

I sweep first, then use a Rubbermaid Reveal mop (same idea as a swiffer, but with a washable reusable pad and you can use whatever cleaner you want). We use Bona cleaner and once a month or so use the Bona floor polish
