Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

on the way to getting everything paid off!
We received a large sum of money last week that we have been waiting for and I am very excited to put this money to work for us. I paid down one debt in order to be able to have it paid off before the 0% period ended (it jumped to 28% after that!). We are working on successfully paying off collections items on DH's credit report, and making sure that they will report it as "paid in full, account closed" rather than "settled". And the bulk of the money will go in a money market account as our emergency fund/future house downpayment. We talked over the weekend and DH agreed that our tax return, my bonus, and any extra money we get will be going into that account to be saved and not touched. I am very excited to be able to make so much headway on this. I finally feel like we have our head above water and are actually getting somewhere. Fingers crossed that nothing extreme happens to set us back.
