What day is it? Hump Day!!!

Morning pretty ladies! Hope everyone has a great hump day. Not too much going on in my life. Can't wait for the weekend, the looooonnngggg weekend! Wohoo!

    Yeah long weekend! I think this is possibly the only one we share (other than Easter - assuming you guys get that).

    I can't believe it's Wednesday. I have accomplished little on my list of things to do this week. Must get busy today.

    Helloooooooooooooooooooo! 
    I have one class today (boo) and then I'm going to a meeting for the Medical Imaging Club. Trying to meet some people who are in program and find out all the goods. 
    I have to get my car inspected and I totally waited too long, oooops. I made an appt. for Friday, so now I'm praying nothing needs fixed! I have a feeling my brakes might not pass, they've been getting pretty bad. 
    :(

    I'm SO excited for the long weekend because I'm pretty sure I have it off!!! I say pretty sure because I haven't gotten a schedule from Interim yet for the next month, so it's possible I'm working, but I doubt it since I worked this past weekend.

    UGH YOU GUYS! I'm so irritated right now! 
    They are FINALLY fixing our street. It's so awful, sink holes everywhere. Well they are starting Monday and they say it's going to last 3 weeks!!!!! That means for 3 weeks we have to find somewhere else to park! (we park on the street in front of the house). UGHHH!!!!! 
    I feel like if the borough is going to make us park elsewhere, they should provide us with a place to park.

    I don't actually get anytime off for Easter Echo! I get Christmas day off. I believe Canada celebrates Christmas at the same time we do.

    JLQ: Yea for long weekends! Boo for brakes. Double Boo for finding somewhere to park. Hopefully it doesn't take all 3 weeks. I am also surprised they are starting on Monday given the holiday.

     I lied, they are starting Tuesday. I hope it doesn't take all 3 weeks! I find that crazy! The street's not that long! 

    I also didn't get anything off for Easter. In fact, I had to work Easter Sunday this past year! Most places don't recognize Easter as a holiday because it's a religious one.

    You guys don't get Good Friday off? Here everything is closed Good Friday. Banks and government offices and schools are closed Easter Monday.

    Aggie: Wohoo! That is exciting. 189 days is right around the corner. Congrats!

    Echo: I don't have off Good Friday! Banks, Government Offices and School of course they have off. They have off for every holiday it seems like to me. I don't have it off. I actually only have 7 holidays off a year; New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Day After Thanksgiving and Christmas. Every other day is a working day and I would have to use vacation time if I wanted it off, such as Christmas Eve or Good Friday.

    Crazy crazy!! Here (at least in Ontario) we have New Year's Day, family day (third Monday in February), Good Friday, Easter Monday (for federal employees, banks and schools), May 24 long weekend (usually the third weekend in may for Queen Victoria), July 1(Canada day), first Monday of August (again just federal employees and banks), labour day, thanksgiving Monday (second Monday in October), Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

    I enjoy it. Lol

    Maybe I'll move to Canada! I want all those holidays! haha!

    Yay Aggie!!!  That sounds amazing :)  How long is the trip?

    Echo - I always forget that the US and Canada don't always share the same holidays.  It cracks me up when we have Canadian students calling on our holidays and they get all huffy on the voicemail saying they've been calling all morning.

    Hi Degrea!!

    I'm now officially on my 5 day weekend :)  Tomorrow the laundry cabinets are being installed (yippee!) and Friday is the first football game of the season.  Work has been crazy busy and it's only going to get busier.  I had my annual review today and I've gotten a ton more responsibility so I'm going to be super busy.  Ick.
