  Of those, I've read Water for Elephants, Villette, and I am Number Four. They have absolutely nothing in common. I liked Water for Elephants. Villette was sort of hard to get through but it's something you should read in your lifetime. I am Number Four is mindless and enjoyable.

  j*&p* I enjoyed it. I liked the characters and how it pulled me in. It was a pretty fast read, I finished it in 2 days- only spending a few hours each day on it.

  Thanks everyone, looks like Water for Elephants won. I have already seen the movie, so I am doing this one backwards but have been really wanting to read the book too!

  I just finished The Shadow Rising.  I always have to take breaks between the Jordan books...I feel like I need a new world and new characters after a 1000 pages of Rand, Moraine, Mat, and Perrin.

  I loooove WFE. The way she writes about the circus, it's like you're dropped right in the middle of the big top.
