My surgery is scheduled for 10am on Thursday and I am getting really nervous and scared. Tomorrow is going to be a long day and I am hoping I'll be able to sleep tomorrow night. I really started to get nervous on Sunday at the family get together my mom and hubby put together. Everyone was asking me questions and I guess it just made it more "real". My pre-op appt was yesterday and it went well. I'm thankful that they will let H stay with me all the way up until I'm wheeled into the operating room. The surgery will be about 3 hours long and I'll be in recovery for about 2 hours and then be allowed to go home. My doctor is putting a pain pump in me to administer Novocaine throughout the first day and has prescribed me Oxycontin. H keeps telling me that Oxycontin is the "good stuff"! Haha

I've never taken it before, but I'm hoping it's better than Hydrocodone because that stuff just doesn't do much for me other than make me nauseous and dizzy.
Anyway, here's the pic of the cake my mom got. She was going to make it but ended up not having the time. Everyone sang "Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss him goodbye)" which I thought was pretty funny.
Re: About 36 hours away
Good luck tomorrow!
I love the cake and the whole party theme. Your mom must be a fun lady!
