I could ask my board on the Bump but I feel more comfortable asking here and value y'alls opinion more...
I found the crib I want for our nursery. I have always thought I would get white furniture since I am doing the nursery in a 'mature' beach theme (I say 'mature' because the cartoony stuff is NMS). We found the crib at Babies R Us and when I saw it I KNEW it was THE ONE. The crib in the store was Espresso, and my husband really liked that. And I do have to say it was beautiful in person. But I don't know how the espresso will look in a light beachy room.. I always felt like white would be more beachy. So I would like to get more opinions
Here is the accent wall in the nursery and that is more then likely where the crib will go. The other walls in the room are the darker color stripe... (I was going to do a Poll but it wouldn't let me post pics on it) Thanks girls! XOXO

Not at all. I think pink accents would be really cute with the wall color & expresso crib.
I'm a fan of the expresso myself. Not that I've looked since we're not expecting (see WTF post)
I actually prefer the white. I don't like super dark wood, especially for a nursery but that's just my feelings on it.
I also don't really understand the "getting dirty" thing about the white crib...it's not like your baby is going to eat inside the crib or go in there with dirty clothes/hands right? Also, think about this, would you rather see the poop on the crib (white) or not see it and keep wondering "what's that smell??" (dark wood) lol just something to think about!

Blah... it's not letting me see the photos... I'll check back later.
But I do think that you can pull off the beach theme with both white and expresso furniture, so if you really love the expresso one then go for it.
I agree that either would work. Personally I am always drawn to espresso and we will be hopefully doing an espresso colored crib.
PS. @Invane00 congrats on 12 weeks! You must be feeling pretty good to get there!

I hope your second tri is better than mine. 1st tri was just morning sickness 2nd tri I had horrible pains in my back and hips and felt miserable. I had to change my work schedule and am still on the limited schedule until delivery.
My son has a white crib in a "mature" beach themed nursery sooo... there's my answer LOL
As far as it "getting dirty", T never goes in there dirty AND kids are dirty in general. Everything will get dirty. Just wipe it down. I can tell you that in 7.5 months, I haven't had to wipe down his crib since we set it up.
