Halloween Costumes

Anyone thinking about a Halloween costume for LO?

I was thinking of ordering one, so I probably need to do it sooner rather than later (and I don't want them to be sold out).

I was looking at Target. Any suggestions? Any ideas?

I just bought a little onesie that was Halloween themed and I'm going to get her a hat with cat ears to match. Nothing fancy.

I want to dress her but I don't know what size she will need so I'm holding off on it. My moms DH bought her a onesie with a pumpkin I think but its a newborn size and I don't think it'll fit her.

I saw on google a really cute costume but I think smallest size is 6 months and I feel like that will be really big for her.

I say maybe try one of those Halloween stores or just Google baby costumes and it will give you lots of options.

I haven't gotten one yet but I plan to pack just a Halloween onesie in my hospital bag in case he comes on or before Halloween.

I can't decide what he'll be. I wanted to do an Alice in Wonderland theme and have him be the white rabbit, but that involves a lot of work to find all the pieces to make the costume. I might just get him a costume. You'd think I'd go for the Carter's fox costume, but I'm not a fan of it's snout. I'm too picky.

Not sure yet. My mom wants to make her the monster disguise Boo wears in Monster's Inc since everyone says she looks like Boo. I'm not sold yet. She was a cupcake last year and so freaking adorable. My mom made the costume. I don't know what I want to do yet so I haven't told my mom I am not into her idea yet.

I bought a 6-9 month size owl costume from Carter's and it's adorable. I can't wait to take pictures.

I miss when my mom was here to make DD's costumes. And I'm sad that she isn't here to even meet DS and this coming LO... Sorry.. you just made me think of my mom and how she used to take days to make DD's costumes and how adorable they always were. On a happy note I think the Monster's Inc Boo idea is too cute!

I'm sorry @ream02 My mom does so much for Ava Nichol and I can't imagine not having her here with me. I called her at 6am panicked this morning because DD's leg was stuck under her bedroom door and I had been trying to get it out for like ten minutes...of course DD pulled her leg out as my mom answered. Again, I'm sorry...it mustbe tough.

@Ream I feel the same way about my grandma. She made me clothes and costumes as a kid, and I know she would be making LOs if she was still here. It's bittersweet being pregnant because I'm happy to be starting a family, but I also wish my grandma was here.
