Worse night ever!!

I seriously woke up crying today. My back is killing me, I tossed and turned all night and according to DH I was in pain all night because even when I did fall asleep I wouldn't stop making noises showing that I was in pain.

My back has never hurt this way before and my doctor said sometimes back pain is a sign of labor but in my case I feel like it's not. I'm going to wait it out and see how I do today.

I have to go out and pay some bills and I was thinking on taking some Tylenol to help with the pain, is this a good idea or no?

Besides my silly question I guess this post is just me being a cry baby and venting of my horrible night.

Re: Worse night ever!!

  • I'm sorry you went through it too. They suck and back pain is no joke. :(

I really don't feel like even leaving my house if it weren't for bills I would be sitting on my couch all day. I hope Tylenol helps and hopefully I get some sleep during the day because I'm exhausted.
  • in the days between my inductions i had a pain in my back that made me cry when i tried to move. i remember being unable to move, crying and waking DH up because i had to go to the bathroom. he had to walk around the bed and help me out, but the pain only got worse the more i moved and the more i tried to stand up and put weight on my feet. it took a good 20 minutes to get out of bed, and then around the bed to the bathroom which was just off to the side of the bed. it sucked.

i hope you feel better. i would probably try some heat as well. i know they say heat in 15 minute increments but i would always forget and lay on the heating pad for much longer.

  • Thanks ladies I took some Tylenol and fell asleep for a little. It seems to have helped a little. I don't have a heating pad or else I would be using it.
  • Sorry you are dealing with that! Hope it gets better soon!!!

  • I do wonder if your body is getting ready for labor.  I'm sorry you had such a terrible night, and hope you continue to feel a little better :(
