Help me with a fall cleaning list
I need to get the things done that aren't done on a regular basis. My list is below. Anything that I should add, am forgetting, etc?
-wash pillows
-trip to Goodwill to get rid of old clothes/appliances/etc
-clean out kitchen and bathroom cabinets
-clean out the freezer (fridge and pantry were done recently)
-test fire alarms
-wash windows
-clean ceiling fans
-organize paperwork/file

- Shampoo carpets
- Get dog fully groomed
- Clean and organize closets
- Defrost deep freezers
- Wash bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom walls (most people don't do this, but I'm OCD)
- Clean exhaust fans and dryer vent.
- Condition leather couch
- Wax cars

I loved being a cleaning lady. If I ever lose my job I'll get back into it for sure.
Nothing relaxes me like cleaning.
@lilliesandvino - were you a part of a cleaning company? Or did you do it on your own?

I did that for a while and eventually it just irritated the shit out of me that I'd clean and when I'd come back it would look like I'd never been there in the first place. No upkeep whatsoever. Otherwise I liked it :-)
OK, this makes me think I need to start a list. I'm in general very good about keeping the house clean and I randomly clean things like closets and the freezer...I even cleaned the garage 2 weekends ago.
but I could easily add to the list switch out comforters, and such.
I do clean a lot more in the winter than the summer since i'm stuck inside.

Vacuum the couch(under cushions as well), sweep and mop the garage floor (I'm weird), organize garage storage, clean behind washer and dryer and clean dryer tube, wash down all patio furniture and store for winter, clean widows sills and tops of windows/blinds, clean doorjams and baseboards/light switches. Ugh I could go on . . .
If I don't look at the mess it isn't really there. Sit on the couch and eat pumpkin things instead. Have Alan clean and pretend that my offers to help are genuine.

Although I think I am going to get out of my fall decor this weekend. DH is not excited about the mess I make in the process of doing it. I do have a lot of things that I want to get done this weekend, but we'll see how many I actually do.
