I am off today. My very last day of summer vacation before I go back to teach the youth of america.

I have no plans today or tonight, except to figure out the plan for tomorrow!

We went to a local amusement park yesterday for 11 hours with friends and their 3 children. It was cloudy and in the mid-70s. Not perfect for the water park there, but lovely for the rest of the time. I enjoyed not being a sweat monster.

If I could be anywhere else today, I'd be drinking ciders with my bitters.

Good morning! I am off work today, but worked Saturday and Sunday, so it wasn't a 3-day weekend. Today's plans include the gym, a little shopping, and cooking out with the ILs.

Weather forecast for today...high in the mid 80's and some thunderstorms late afternoon. I would love to be on a beach with DH, away from everyone else. Without the thunderstorms, obvs.

Like Aimothy, I am off today before the kiddos come back. We have been at the beach all weekend, but it's been rainy/overcast. DH and I walked downtown yesterday for some exercise (we had to walk almost two miles to get there!) I wouldn't change where I am, but I'd change the weather!

I am off today, woohoo! The three day weekend has flown by. During the week I always say how I cannot wait for the weekend so I can nap and then I never nap...

Today we're going to Red Robin for lunch because I get a free burger since it's my birthday month. Other than that it'll probably be a lazy day until tonight when I need/want to go for a walk/run.

We helped my sister and her fiance move on Friday. The rest of the weekend was spent running some errands, I painted the bedroom, visited my Dad and that's about it. I feel like it was a good weekend for Dh and I though because the last three weekends he has been away so it was nice to spend the weekend together just watching movies and hanging out at home.

The weather has been hot and humid. The summer overall has been mild but the last few days have been so sticky and gross.

If I could be anywhere else I'd be in CA visiting my brother; I haven't seen him since Christmas and I am really missing him.

I'm off today! ::HAPPY DANCE:: but then tomorrow it's gonna be a big scramble to get payroll in on time. yeahohwell. Not thinking about work whilst I'm not at work. THE END.

Later today I'm going to my mom's for an impromptu get together.

I wanted to wash my car this morning but it was raining, and according to the weather-lady on the news it was supposed to be off and on rainy all day, so no car washing for me. At the moment, the sun is out, mocking me and my dirty car.

I am off today. We have been at the IL's (DH's home town) all weekend and heading home today. I want to run and hit up a couple shops before we head home. It's has been nice all weekend but its raining right now so that makes it hard to motivate myself to run.
I'm pretty happy where I am right now, in bed, but i wish we'd spend this weekend at the beach.

Last day of my 4-day weekend! I haven't done much of anything productive. Went out Saturday night for a couple of drinks with my friend, worked a promo yesterday, and watched a bunch of Netflix. We thought about going to the beach today, but the weather sucks (overcast with some rain on and off). So we're just hanging around the house at the moment.

I'm off today. We're going to my H's aunt's house for a get-together, and then I'll do some reading for class when we get home. It's nice today, in the 80s, which is great because it's been ridiculously hot for the past week. We went out yesterday and shopped, so that was fun, and college football is back so we watched games all Saturday. I'm good doing what we will today. And tomorrow is our anniversary!

Happy Labor Day! Sorry I've been away for a while. My sister was in town for a week, and then I spent last week in Montreal for a conference with far less internet access than I expected. So, for the 3-day weekend, I drove (16 hrs each way to Montreal

), had some welcome-back ST, and I'm off today, but I have some work to do at home to catch up from being away last week. Also, tonight DH and I will be catching up on last week's Dexter, which I missed (!) because I was away.

I think if I could be anywhere else, I'd be on a cruise with DH somewhere in the pacific. I feel like I just took the most boring, stressful, work-filled "vacation" of my life, and now I want a real one.

Happy Labor Day! And happy early anniversary @transponster!

We're both off today, and just said goodbye to my parents and little sister who were visiting since Thursday. We had a great weekend! Did some beautiful hikes, enjoyed the great weather (low 80s with a breeze... yes please!), ate some (read... A lot of) good food. Today we're taking it easy, probably going grocery shopping, taking the pup to the park, maybe watching a movie. Just general recovery from having visitors.
The weather should be great today, low 80s and sunny again.
If I could be anywhere, I would be on a white sand beach drinking a piña colada and getting ready for a week of relaxation...

Woohoo for the extra day off! I did have to work on Saturday, so at least I got a two-day weekend. Today we're cleaning the house and yard and waxing DH's new truck. Yesterday we went to the state wine festival. It was blazing hot outside, but there were 21 local wineries there to ease the pain a little.

We went to a wedding yesterday and both must have eaten something bad. We didn't drink much at all and are both sick to our stomachs. Blah.

I wish we could be boating, BBQ-ing with friends, or doing something outside. Instead, we are both on couches, half dead.

Yes, I am off today. We had DH's little brother (11 years old) this weekend so we spent the weekend with him. We had to take him back to his parents this weekend so we met halfway and ate Chinese. The weather is pretty nice today...it was a little too hot over the weekend. I have lesson plans that I should currently be working on.

If I could be anywhere else, I'd probably say the beach!

We took MIL to Atlantic City this weekend. Now that we are home we are both in need of some r&r and st. The weather is hot and humid. Driving home we had a lot of rain and some flooding.

I'm off today! I rarely get off for holidays. We've been away since Last Saturday so we just got home yesterday.
We cleaned out our whole basement today. It's been rainy all day so no BBQ parties.

Happy Labour Day!

We slept in a little, had a lazy morning and then went to see The Butler. After that we went to visit friends and their new baby boy.

It was cloudy today and now we're getting a thunderstorm.

If I could be anywhere else, I'd be with my family out West.
