CP: Symptoms?

Hi everyone! I'm definitely not pregnant (yet) but I'm hopping over here from GP to do a CP because I'm curious about something and I know you ladies are the best audience for this. I hope you don't mind!

When you got your BFP, were you truly able to tell based on symptoms? I know they say that early pregnancy symptoms are very similar to pre-AF symptoms. However, every 2ww I can't help but feel like if I was pregnant I would just "know" because I would surely feel different. Thanks in advance for your answers!

The only symptom I had was that I felt a weird tightening in my ute/bladder area after peeing. I didn't feel real symptoms until about 5-6 weeks.

I tested the day I was due for AF. My boobs hurt, but I thought it was normal because it was my first cycle off BCP. I only tested because AF didn't show after work.

I was super tired. I couldn't keep my eyes open even after a good night of rest. I didn't know this was a pregnancy symptom until my first OB appointment. I tested the day I did expecting disappointment just like every other month.

I tested when I was due for AF. The only symptoms I had was needing to pee a lot, which is unusual for me because I'm known as a camel.

I was sure AF was coming. I had menstrual cramps just like I do every month and didn't even test until 15 dpo because I was convinced it would be a BFN.

The only reason I tested was because I was planning on getting drunk that night, I always test before a night of drinking. I had some spotting 3 days before testing so it was mainly to cover my ass, I didn't really think there was any way I was pregnant. Symptoms didn't start for me until around 6 weeks.

No weird symptoms here. I thought AF was just around the corner. I even had my pre AF spotting.

I also thought af was coming because I had had cramps.

I usually have spotting randomly during the month and didn't have any that month, but didn't think anything about it.

I was so sure we were out that month, I had told dh and he wanted to do every other day the next month , so he made a schedule (no kidding). So after a couple days, he kept asking me when I was going got get my period (i wasn't charting) so he could update the schedule (still not kidding). I tested and BFP.

I had mostly pre AF symptoms but I put other because I just knew I was pregnant. I was so terrified that I was wrong with my intuition that I didn't test until 20 dpo. I was so sure I was that I would have been devastated by bfn so I just waited forever. My boobs hurt and I had cramping but that was it until 6 weeks when all the first tri symptoms hit all at once.

I had been spotting and couldn't figure out why AF was taking so long to truly show her face. The only other symptom I remember was having bad back cramps which often accompany AF.

I actually had a feeling I was pg, not that AF was coming. I felt different. Nothing drastic but my boobs hurt a little differently than they do before AF. I had some aversion to alcohol (not like me at all). It was Valentine's Day and I had the next day off work and still skipped having drinks that night. I tested the next morning but wasn't planning on it. And, it's kind of lame but I do feel like I "just knew."

We had good timing that month and I know how my body feels before AF (moody, heavy, bloated) and I didn't have any of that. I tested at 12dpo.

I didn't even test until I was 16 dpo. I had cramping and spotting but finally got the guts to test. Didn't have to wait for the 2nd line it was there as I watched the pee travel up the stick. Then peed on two more brands because I didn't believe it!

In looking back, I had symptoms. I just never attributed them to pregnancy or AF. I had just come off the pill after 10 years and I felt this was my body's way of saying, "F you!"

My boobs KILLED and were swollen and my nipples were highly sensitive. I'm putting that as the giveaway sign. I was also exhausted and has horrible headaches. No other signs. I have PCOS and it isn't uncommon for me to go without an AF. I came back from vacation not feeling great and tested.

And here we are, 3 months later. (I was 7 weeks pregnant when we found out)

This was me. I was taking naps a lot more often, but chalked it up to stress. I tested at 13DPO just so I would know if I should wear a pad to bed that night, since AF liked to come at 2am. I was shocked to see a BFP.

I didn't get any other symptoms until about a week after my BFP.

I didn't realize I had a symptom until after I tested. I had pregnancy insomnia from really early on. Way earlier than I got my BFP. But I didn't recognize it till about halfway through first tri.

I had the implanon removed a few months before TTC and I didn't know when to expect AF.

I just felt like POAS that morning and it came up positive. I don't think I would have known I was pregnant if I hadn't tested since I never knew when AF was due. I would have found out I was pregnant after getting horrible morning sickness.

Oh yeah, I think two days before my BFP I was cooking dinner with my mom and I got super dizzy and almost fainted. I guess that was a sign but I did test that day after getting dizzy and it was a BFN.

I sort of knew that I would probably have a positive pregnancy test based on temping and charting. Since I found out so early I didn't have many symptoms. The only thing that felt different were my boobs being a little sore and the areolas got much darker. When I hit about 6 weeks I started spotting a lot and then around week 8 I got morning sickness ALL.THE.TIME.

I had AF cramps the day before AF was due and the day AF was due, so I was sure that I was out. Then AF didn't show so I tested a couple days later and got my BFP. I was sure that I was out, but clearly I was wrong!

I did IVF. I had all kinds of weird symptoms but I'm pretty sure they were all in my head. "Real" symptoms didn't start until week 5.

My first pregnancy- I had regular AF symptoms and was positive my period was coming.

Second pregnancy- I had a bfn and bleeding on 14dpo. I KNEW I wasn't pregnant. I'd bought a bottle of wine for that night, but got a call that afternoon that the blood test came back positive.

I had no symptoms. I also wasn't charting or anything so I had absolutely no clue where I was even at in my cycle. I just knew I was close to my longest cycle date so I thought what the hell. It's been 13 months of negatives...getting kind of used to them now.

Ended up being positive. I was 100% surprised as I said I didn't have one symptom. Pregnancy or AF related. Sore boobs and nausea kicked in at about 5-6 weeks.
