Photo Books

DH and I have been married for about 6 months and recently moved into our first home together. I want to make a photo album every year, starting with this year, to keep as time passes by. I also still need to make one with our engagement pictures, and I would like to do a wedding one as well (we have the traditional, really nice one, but I would like a more casual book with more candids and less posed shots).

My issue is that I want them to remain mostly the same throughout the years, so I originally planned on making them online (likely with mixbook) so that they would be consistent. But we recently went on vacation and we have small keepsakes I would like to include, so a more traditional photo book with the picture slots may work better so that I can slide them in. I considered doing full-on scrap books, but that's a lot of work and I'm concerned that they wouldn't turn out very well.

Any ideas? Advice?

Re: Photo Books

  • I would sugest going to a craft store and just seeing what they have. There are tons of albums out now that have slots for individual pictures, as well as full pages where you can do your own scrapbook layouts. Many of them are binder style, so you can decide how many pages to include and are as customizable as you want them to be.
