  • The fair comes to town during the fall and that means all the good food that comes with it! Also we have a local festival in downtown which lasts about 2 weeks and usually has a great band or performer on one of the weekends. And once again the food which is such a huge deal here and most of the food vendors are local schools who are doing it to make money towards which ever program is working it that year.

I've actually never been to the Big E. H & I say we should go every year and never do.

My work has an event every Oct. that I DREAD! We had been going to ME in the fall but I don't know that we'll be going this year. I would like to go apple picking but it's not a tradition... yet!

I Hate the fall, but LOVE thanksgiving (In October here in Canada), so I guess having the family time, and we often carve our Halloween pumpkins at thanksgiving dinner since there's more kids around.

EDITED TO ADD: November is also National Adoption Month and for the last 3 years I have had the opportunity to help out with Adoption Month Events (awareness of kids in care events, family finding, events for kids who have been adopted etc) put on by The Adoptive Families Association of BC. That has become a tradition since the Hubby came to help last year and we plan on being involved for a long long time!

  • I suck at traditions. I don't have any. But we always go to the Tulsa Fair at least once to eat a TON of fair food! YUM!!! Its always at the end of Sept beginning of Oct.
