I finished reading Out of the Easy last night. In fact, I stayed up pretty late just to finish it.
Definitely glad I picked this up at the library! I gave it 4/5 stars.
While it wasn't as great as her other book, Between Shades of Gray, it was still interesting.
I loved reading about New Orleans/The Quarter and the time period it was set in. The little mystery that was in the book was also great. While I was able to figure out what had happened quite easily, it was fun watching Josie figure it out.
I wish there would have been more to the story of Josie and Charlie, as I liked those parts a lot. I didn't really connect as much to the characters in this book as I did when reading Between Shades of Gray, but I was still interested enough to stay up late reading.
It was a pretty quick read, and I'd definitely recommend it.
