How long does your SO take to get ready in the morning?
Okay, here's a light-hearted topic for you. How long does your SO take to get ready in the morning? (Or for work, if they work shifts?)
I'm curious because my DH takes what I consider to be an insane amount of time. He needs a minimum of 30 minutes, and an hour is not unheard of. I wouldn't care, except that he says he doesn't have time to watch our son so I can have a quick shower. (Which takes me 5 mins, 10 if I blow dry my hair.) I think it's crazy that when he has an hour before he needs to leave for work, there's "no time" for me to shower. I love my dh, but he's a slow mover and disorganized, which contributes to the problem. I'm sick of starting the day by arguing over whether or not I can shower, and curious how long other men take to get ready. Thanks!!
Re: How long does your SO take to get ready in the morning?
Just to take a shower, not that long. But he gets up about 2 hours before he needs to leave for work- irons his clothes, shines his shoes, walks the dogs, feeds them, plays in the yard some, surfs the web, checks some emails, just messes around.
Me, on the other hand, gets up at the last possible second to take a shower and get ready.
He does have back problems that seem to bother him the most right after he wakes up, so he usually gets up a few hours before he needs to leave for work to give him some time to stretch and for me to give him a massage.
I get up and am out the door for work in 15 minutes or less and that includes making myself a lunch lol

My H takes 40 minutes from wake up to out the door. He's slow waking up so 20+ minutes is shower. When we have kids he'll have to adjust. We'll work it out.
It takes me about an hour to get ready. I'm a really slow mover in the morning. It takes me even longer if I'm not feeling well. Once in a blue moon the stars align and I get get ready in 15 minutes
