  • It depends, but I generally read before bed. It's all about how long I can keep my eyes open.

    So true.

  • I torture myself every day when I read... I have a 15 minute subway ride and that's when I read. Then I read again for 15 minutes on the way home... It's horrible, especially when the book is really good, some times I wish I could keep riding the subway, at least until I finish a chapter!

I look forward to my lazy weekends when I can sit down and REALLY read!

  • I just depends on the day.

    90 books in 2015?

  • I typically need over 30 minutes at a time, but usually get distracted too much that I'll read maybe an hour and then do something else, then go back and read a half hour, etc.

  • I usually get about 45mins to an hour in the morning on the train, depending on how tired I am. Evenings are usually closer to 20-30mins because I nap for 20-30mins every night.
Whether or not you find your own way, you're bound to find some way. If you happen to find my way, please return it, as it was lost years ago. I imagine by now it's quite rusty.”

  • I prefer to read 2+ hours but I usually only get an hour or two a day.

  • I get about 30 minutes on the bus in the morning, sometimes afternoons if I don't have a ride, and I read on my lunch break for 30-45 minutes. I don't read at home a lot unless DH is gone.

  • It depends on how into the book I am.  I can sit and read for HOURS.

  • It depends on the book/how busy I am that day. I can usually squeeze in 45 minutes at lunch and then I'll get anywhere from 15 minutes to a whole bunch of hours in the evening.
  • Like everyone else, it depends on the day.  Most weekdays it's 30-minutes to an hour before bed while DH watched the late news.  On Mondays, I have an extra hour and half before an evening class.  And one weekend a month, I read in the car during our 4-hour round trip drive to see family.

  • I mainly read before going to sleep. So it depends on how tired I am that night. I can usually get in at least a half hour if not a full hour or more.

  • I used to read for longer, but now I read in probably 15-20 minute chunks throughout the day.

  • Like others, it depends on the day. It's usually between 15 and 30 minutes at a time, though.

This. Before kids, i would spend hours- full days even- reading nonstop. When I had just Jack, I would read during his 3 hour epic naps in the afternoon (on summer break, winter break and weekends when I wasn't at work). Now that I have the newborn, I don't get much more than 15-20 min at a time to read many times throughout the day. It's a priority for me though, so I make sure I get time even if it just in the car driving somewhere (when husband is driving of course lol).
  • I usually get interrupted several times when the kids are awake so I get between 5-30 minute chunks but once they are in bed it's usually a good hour of reading before I crash too.

Yep, this too. If I'm super in to a book and have the opportunity, I'll read all day.
