FYI: We don't want to exclude some ladies, but this is a check in for ladies who are unfortunately having troubletrying to conceive (TTTC=3T). If you've been trying for more than a year and/or have been diagnosed with any form of infertility OR are now pursuing adoption or have decided to remain childless following a 3T journey, you are welcome to join us.

Speaking of 3T disappointment...

I literally JUST walked out of the RE's office. My dumb ute isn't thick enough for the transfer next week. We are increasing meds and pushing it back a week.

I'm at a 10 out of 10 on stress levels. This is really not the end of the world, but I just feel like I've been knocked down yet again. I am fighting back tears.

So dealing with disappointment? I don't know. A big old glass of wine tonight, probably.

ET was yesterday. We transferred one partially hatched (!) blast. My nurse called this morning and said they were able to freeze 7! Soooo much better than last cycle.

QOTW: I usually let myself cry and grieve but then try to refocus my energy to something positive. Pick myself up and figure out what the next step is.

Sorry I haven't been around as much ladies!

I still think about you guys all the time...it has just been hard to be here when I have been so angry (rant over)!

I am still in no where land. We are on the last month of Dr. advised "try on our own" and if this doesn't work I will sadly be going back to the RE and starting an IUI cycle.

I usually eat and cry when dealing with stress. 3T stress is no different!

Update: I'm 8dpo. Progesterone yesterday, on natural cycle, was 25. So I o'ed on my own and pretty good I'd say but then my temp dived this morning. I have no idea what's happening.

Tuesday we met with a new RE, to get a second opinion but we liked him so much more we are switching to this clinic. Plan for next cycle is a hysteroscopy to r/o any ute problems causing m/c's, 5mg Femera CD3-7 and IUI. He did prescribe progresterone if I want it fir post-IUI but with the good results yesterday I'm wondering if I need it.

Any thoughts on this??

Dealing with disappointment, I don't think I do this very well. I usually eat crappy food and then feel gross and then workout really hard. Since 3T I've learned to run 5K. I don't really enjoy it but it is a good distraction and helps burn the calories from all the emotional eating.

No updates on me. I am sure AF will be here in a few days....no high hopes for this cycle. My temps are just so much lower than usual.

I usually cry and eat. Probably not the best thing for me :-p

Today is CD1. I can't lie, this was the most hopeful cycle I've had and the disappointment was gut wrenching.

I don't really know what to do next. I'm still focusing on losing weight but my doctor is telling me I can continue with Clomid since it is effective and my lining is okay and Tom's numbers were so good and my HSG was clear; but I mean, at this point, what are the chances of me getting KU from TI (even though I'm ovulating). Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,

No updates on me. I think I started peeing on things too late this cycle, and DH threw his back out right around O-time, so there is no hope this cycle. AF should be here in a couple days.

I eat, cry, and talk through my feelings a lot. Talking really helps me (though it my drive the people around me crazy!)

Sorry Amanda! It sucks when you get hopeful and it doesn't work out.

Are you ready to move on? Adding IUI isn't a huge deal. Or thought about adding acu or other things to make your body the best it can be?

@amandaf hugs to you. We've all had that one that gets us down before. So sorry this was a rough one. Cry it out, you'll make it through.
I'm no longer disappointed. I expect negatives so i usually just listen to music by myself until i can shake the sad and mive on. If I have my hopes up, such as my iuis or this cycle, I will binge drink and get high a lot to become numb. Truth.
Also I increase my posting on here so I feel less alone in the sad...

Update: Meds came in the mail yesterday, us and bw tomorrow with injects starting Saturday if all looks well!

Hi ladies! I decided to move over here to the 3T check in since this cycle was a bust. The only update I have is that AF showed today during the day. Now we wait for September 18th to meet with my GYN to see what the plan is for testing.

I haven't been great with dealing with disappointments. Physically I eat when I'm stressed about anything so I do that for TTC stress as well. Emotionally I have this strategy where I try to bury my feelings by having an attitude like I don't really want a baby anyways.... Lately I'm just trying to focus on the other things in my life much more rather than the stress and disappointment of TTC.

Update: nada. We have nothing holding is back from doing our next injectables cycle now except fear. This is our last shot and if it fails, I dunno what we'll do. IVF or adoption will be our only options. We still aren't sure on if IVF is right for us, so yeah. The longer I put off this cycle, the more time I have to figure things out. Basically, I'm scared. Really scared.

QOTW: Shop. Eat crap. And ignore it/avoid talking and thinking about it. If I don't let myself "feel", then it's not really happening, right? Not healthy, but whatever.

ILRV, hope the increase in med thickens your lining. Looney, good luck! ((HUGS)) to all Cinco, !!!!! So excited! I am 2dpiui I usually eat junk, cry and listen to music and cry some more. I dont really take about it. I have learned to just move on. The sadness and bitterness is always with me but I just dont show it.

I'm sure this must be a very difficult place to be! Hopefully the injects cycle will be it and you won't have to worry about it. I hope that you can come to a good place though.

Well, I think I am spotting. 13dpo. I guess this means we have our "options" appointment to schedule. I'm going to settle that and then call a fertility specialist who does herbals and acupuncture when you are prepping for IVF. DH and I will push for IVF at our appointment for the sake of our mental health. I shop and drink wine. I guess that means poppies is getting a new pair of shoes and a bottle of wine this weekend! Woo hoo! (now you see why I have so many shoes!) FFC/AW: this is both. I only know I'm starting to spot because after ST this afternoon there was blood. At least there was ST!

Lots of hugs and happy thoughts to all you ladies going through this.

This is my first 3T post, and am currently on cycle day 32 of my 10th cyle of 16 months trying. I was cautiously hopeful this month, since we had to take a break from the last failed inject IUI cycle. I peed on an OPK a couple times and actually got a line- not a valid positive, but a line I've never seen in the months of trying. Needless to say, the HPT says I'm most definitely not pregnant.

Once I confirm tomorrow to start progesterone, we are embarking on our 3rd inject IUI cycle. I'm not sure if this one fails if we will try one more time or just move forward with IVF. Due to Mr's work schedule, I think this will be the last try until the spring (lots of travel involved with his line of work). I'm trying to be optimistic that this could be it, but my coping mechanism is to plan for the worst and get ready for every detail. This, of course, drives Mr up the wall.

I enjoy drinking. A lot. More than I should on Met. I have also been known to buy a few unnecessary items.

Now I just need to find time to go to the OBGYN. AF is on her way in, I'm crampy, spotting, and over emotional, I just want to cry. QOTW: poorly, I eat, I drink, I bottle it all up, I won't let myself cry, and I sometimes do meditation before bed so I can sleep.

@amandaf6383...I'm sorry this past cycle was a bust. How are you doing on WW? Do you think you're going to continue on that path and see what happens or are you ready to move onto IUI or something along those lines?

Update: Nothing new here. I did get AF on my own last month which is a miracle within itself but I got frustrated with my temps so gave up mid-month and am kind of back to not caring. I've given up even thinking about trying to figure it out on my own until I lose these last 15lbs and can actually have a plan established with a doctor. I'm ok with TTC being put on the back burner right now though...I'm in a good place.

QOTW: I talk to my best friend mostly. While he doesn't understand all of it he is always there to listen and make me feel good about other aspects of my life. It works 90% of the time, and for those other 10% we go out drinking and stuffing our faces full of fried food.

Exercise helps me deal with stuff too. I never thought I'd say that.
