So I had to get to work done for school and was working on it at the library tonight. When finished, I pulled out my Kindle and was reading.

Someone comes up and of course wants to know what I'm reading and how I'm liking it.

And then goes "So what'd you think when Rue died??"

And then I just got up and walked away.

I'm still so mad. I got to that part a few hours ago and was mad all over again.

But Rue just sounded so cute and innocent and I was convinced she would make it somehow. That her and Katniss would hide together forever. And then it was ruined.

I hate book spoiling. They didn't even ask what part of the book I was on. And obviously I wasn't finished yet since they interrupted me reading it! This describes all my feelings.

I try to be forgiving about being interrupted (key word: try), and I can understand being excited that someone is reading something you liked, but isn't it common knowledge that this conversation goes:
A: Whatcha readin'?
B: Book Title
A: Oh! Where are you at?!
B: Around that place where that thing happens.
A: Oh, cool.
(A internally to self: Damn! I really wanted to talk about that exciting bit coming up!)

That is so rude!! I would be pretty pissed. I mean if your going to share a spoiler at least find out where the reader is so that its not a shocker. Too bad you can not get a memory wipe so that you can enjoy the story without jerk-ish people spoiling the story!

Thanks you guys! Sorry I was at work all day and had no time to respond. I'm still so mad about that. When that part came up it was not nearly as emotional as it would have been. The whole time she was with Rue I was waiting on it to happen. Such a waste of a scene.
