You guys... (scary book related)

I just read the middle part of Heart-Shaped Box, which scared the bejesus out of me! (Who/what is bejesus, anyway?) Now husband is going to work (he works nights) so I'll be all alone. Worse than that, he's going out of town after so he won't even come home! I'm going to be thinking about that book all night!

Oh, I hate that. I always try to watch funny/light tv or a movie to make my brain forget about it long enough to go to sleep.

I think there was one really scary moment/image in Heart-Shaped Box and one really scary thing that happened in Bag of Bones. Even in an otherwise non-scary book, that one image can keep me up at night!

I didn't think that it was scary either. I think that the wierdest part was the fact that it was supposed to take place in the county that I live in.

That's because some of you are used to reading scary books and aren't scared by them. Some of us are different (and I have way too active an imagination).

I'm talking about the part at grandma's house. Gave me goosebumps! (Though I'm happy to report I slept just fine and didn't imagine anything scary hiding behind the bathroom door when I got up to go in the middle of the night.)

I thought this was one of the scariest books I've read. But IT didn't scare me in the slightest. I think it's because I actually believe in ghosts, and when the ghosts are as evil as they are in this book, I can't help but freak out a little! I LOVED this book though.
