XP: T&Ps please, I'm scared

This is also posted on my BMB:

Since my medication increase for epilepsy, I've been getting some pretty horrible migraines. I have sensitivity to light, auras, blinding headaches - and the next day, I don't really remember much of the previous day.

I called my neurologist (even though I have an appointment on Wednesday) cause it is really bothering me now.

I'm scared that I may have been misdiagnosed and these may be tonic-clonic seizures. My old neurologist told me that it was complex migraines.

If I'm having seizures, that means my license will be taken away. I've been seizure-free for 21 years. I don't know how I'll deal if they come back and say these are seizures.

I genuinely feel like crying.

***in addition to the original post: I'm officially on and off crying at work while waiting for my phone to ring. I do not care about my license. I'm worried about the safety of my baby since this has been happening so frequently. I also don't know how I'll mentally handle this if they are seizures after being seizure-free for two decades. I can't help but to think, this only started happening when they raised my meds. Even on too much medication wouldn't that prevent seizures because my levels would be higher?

Baby boy must know I'm upset because since I talked my neuro's office, he's been kicking up a storm.***

  • I'm so sorry. I hope your doctor gets back to you soon...like right now. I hope that it is migraines caused by the meds or something else that is easy to deal with. Glad to hear baby boy is kicking like crazy though like "mom, I am okay in here...see I am kicking!" I'm thinking of you and sending as many vibes as I can! *creepy internet hugs*

  • T&Ps that it's not seizures and that that your doc can get your medication regulated so this stops happening. Also praying that it's not affecting the baby! ((HUGS))
