Stolen card

My card was stolen and thankfully my bank contacted be via phone, email and text to let me know. Then they called again after I had talked to someone to just check up. It's nice to know that they are looking out for me. Only a bit over $100 was taken and it will be reimbursed. Never had this happen before but I'm loving the customer service that resulted from it so far.

Re: Stolen card

  • That's good they were able to catch it!  I hate when that happens, it makes me nervous! That's happened to me twice.. luckily they caught it both times.  Once was about a hundred.. the other time it was a lot more.  I had to fill out some papers explaining that it wasn't me, so that I didn't have to pay for it.

  • That is great they helped you so much!

My card was "stolen" once even though it was still in my wallet. They had skimmed the magnetic bar and put it on a fake card. They were trying to use it for several thousand dollar purchases at different stores but luckily my bank blocked them.
  • My card has been "stolen" twice, even though I still had it.  Both times, it was caught, and I wasn't charged for the item.

  • Awesome customer service on your banks part. Glad they caught it in time.
  • Yup I'm happy with my bank. It was "stolen" so it probably would have taken me a couple of days to notice on my own. The banks response was almost immediate. It was quite impressive.
