Is this normal? TMI.

I am having stomach pain (similar to period cramping but it comes and goes, and is higher, in my stomach not my pelvis) with back pain, and nausea without vomiting.  The thought of food is abhorrent, and I am trying to drink water but can only handle it in small amounts.

My MS has been mild to this point so I don't know if this is normal...all I know is that I hurt.

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.

  • Never happened to me, but it could be perfectly fine.  If you're worried, put a call into your doc.

  • I have had abdominal discomfort most of my pregnancy, from the uterus shoving my poor intestines out of the way. Could be what you're experiencing. Definitely call your doc though if it doesn't go away, gets worse or is accompanied by bleeding.

I hope you feel better soon!

  • I would try to talk to your doc. It could be pregnancy stuff or a stomach bug :( hope you feel better

  • It sounds normal to me... Like Sg, I've had discomfort like this off and on too. It never lasts too long for me so again, her advice for calling is what I would suggest as well.
