Manic Monday!
How was everyone's weekend?
Saturday, we laid the tile for our bathroom! Sunday, we did the grout. That was pretty much the extent of our weekend..
Here's a pic. The grout lines still need to be cleaned up a bit. I'd say we (okay, mostly DH) did pretty good on our first tile project!

Re: Manic Monday!
Our weekend was good. We ended up going to the art festival H wanted to go to on Saturday afternoon. It was a big disappointment unfortunately. We grabbed sushi at our favorite place for dinner and headed back home to watch some tv and chill.
Sunday we did laundry, errands, cleaned up around the house and finally got the kitchen stools put together. We still have the bookcases to do, but I'm happy with our progress.
Today is dragging so far. I decided to work from home to get some continuing education classes done and I have the ac guy coming out to service the ac and furnace. Even going to be early, I'm still tired today. Lots of coffee for me!

Friday - I helped DH with a catering order for work. A church down by us ordered a 200 person catering order from Qdoba, so I went with him to help transport everything and set it up. The lady was super nice - she gave us a $100 tip!
Saturday, I was going to go out riding, but I didn't end up going. The friend I was going to go with had a test that day, but it ended up taking alllll day long. So, DH and I went to Cheeseburger in Paradise and had a couple of drinks with some of his co-managers. After that, DH went to Oktoberfest at one of the parks around us. I had felt "Blah" all day, so I just hung at home.
Sunday - I made it back to the gym! Boy am I sore today from it!! Other than that, I cleaned up the house.
Nothing big this week. I'm hoping to make it to my doctor's office by the time they close today. I found out that DH's insurance covers testing & diagnostic for infertility, so we're going to start with his tests. I have to go pick up the order and instructions on where to go from my doctor.
With that being said...at my next open enrollment, if we still don't have answers, I'll switch to his insurance. My current insurance doesn't pay any thing, but his insurance will pay for the testing and diagnostics. All we would have is a co-pay.

That's exactly what I was thinking!! Now, I'm just really bummed that I missed his open enrollment by 2 weeks! I was pretty peeved at him for not calling his insurance company to find out coverage until just last week. If he would have called when I had first asked him too, I could have gotten on his insurance effective October!
Ugh. Men! They hate doing stuff like that.

Saturday was fun, I took the kiddo to gymnastics then to see his cousins while I had a visit with SIL. H worked that night and the kiddo and I baked a cake which was good, he really enjoyed "helping". Then I got some time to myself after he went to bed and watched some Netflix.
Sunday was a pretty lazy day but we got cleaning and laundry done in the evening.
I made it to bootcamp this morning!
I have a feeling I'm going to start world war 3 today. Mil has been hell bent on this beach trip so we all finally agreed on a day. Well then she decided to rent a car and wants us to share the driving but she's not putting our names on the rental. I think not. And now she's talking about also doing this amusement park type pier thing that I am vehemently against going to so I need to say no. Besides, that would make it a super long day and since it's going to be a Sunday we want to be home by 5, which I'm sure she will also not like. Sigh.
Athlete that's great that his insurance covers his tests! So much money saved!
Friday I got extremely lucky and got home from work early. We packed up and drove to Austin. Visited with Hs parents some before heading to bed.
Saturday we took a walk along the greenbelt behind the house. Met a couple of friends for lunch. It was nice. really nice. Then went back and relaxed because Hs parents weren't interested in doing anything. That night we went out to eat and play pinball for a friends birthday. It was enjoyable but splitting the bill was a disaster. I feel terrible for the server.
Sunday we visited with my family. Then later H helped teach his mom how to edit and save photos. While I hung out with my bff by/ in the pool. When H and I were heading home we were lucky enough to watch 2 men get arrested on the hiway while eating at Sonic.
