...you unfriend someone on FB (most likely b/c they are annoying and I rarely talk to them IRL anyway) and then they turn around and friend you.

Anyone else have this happen?

    I don't unfriend people, but I would imagine that would be awkward.

    Yep. It's awkward.

    The only time it happened to me, the person unfriended me....then re-friended me a few months later. DENIED. 

    You can always just add them back and hide everything they post...

    I unfriend. I'm super paranoid and once I reach a certain amount of time not talking to someone at all, i delete. Also, I do that with nesties when I forget their sn. I don't mean it to be a jerk. It just freaks me out when I don't know who is watching me.

    The refriending is awkward. She probably forgot that you were friends before.

    Yup, several times.  I have zero tolerance for stupid and frequently unfriend people.  If they friend request me again, I usually give them another chance.  Depending on the relationship I'll either unfriend them again a short time later if they're still annoying or I'll just hide them.





    dx:  Unexplained IF (mild MFI)

     TTC since May 2011, 1 year trying, and then 3 TI, 2 IUI = BFN

    IVF #1 (May 2013):  Antagonist Protocol: 
    24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
    IVF #2 (August 2013):  Lupron Stop Protocol: 
    28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
    EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
    FET #1 (April 2014):  transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP

    Yup this is exactly how I feel. I unfriended someone a while ago b/c I hadn't talked to her since HS and she was posting u/s pictures almost daily. She just "friended" me again. Weird. I am just ignoring the request for now.

    I defriend people who I haven't talked to in a long time (like random high school/college acquaintances) or those who I don't really know. It's always awkward when I run into them or have another FB friend in common and we somehow end up in the same conversation. Oh well. I don't want the whole world to have access to my private life.

    IVF - BFP - miscarriage June 2013

    Switched clinics
    IVF with PGD - three embryos created, all healthy - July 2014
    FET - transferred two embryos (boy and girl) - Nov 2014 - BFP!

    I unfriendly people all the time. I even unfriend people who I like but just don't chat with. I also don't want the world looking at my private life.

    Sometimes I unfriend the wrong people when I go through my list, :( 
    I've added people back not knowing if I unfriended them on accident or they unfriended me ha. No shame.

    I even unfriended someone I now have to host my sisters baby shower with... She's messaged me, "How are we not friends?"

    Answer: "FB purge of '09". My bad.

    I do this, too. I have no shame in purging my list, but I also rarely use FB. I made a group of friends a "list" on FB, so every time they post something, I get an alert. This keeps me from having to scroll, and I only see content I want to see.

    You know the "people you may know" section on FB?  One time it brought up this dude I used to bang because we had friends in common.

    Yeahhhh how about no, FB.

    I've had that happen before. I've unfriended someone and then a few weeks later they friend me again. Usually I just turn down the friend request or I just don't unfriend them and hide them from my news feed so they are out of sight.
