What a beautifully written book. Heartbreaking, as well. I don't know how to describe this story. It is at times raging with adolescent angst, but at the same time it is so...quiet. It was not an easy book to read at times, but I couldn't put it down. One of my favorites this year.

    I'm so glad you loved this book!  This is one of the books that if I could make all Nesties read, I would.  It was, by far, the best book I've read this year.  Quiet and beautiful.

    Love this book but I haven't been able to convince any of my friends to read it yet because I can't describe it well. I totally agree with "quiet and beautiful" but apparently that doesn't sound appealing to them.

    I agree- this was beautifully written. I listened to it on audio and can say it was also an excellently done audio book for anyone who's interested. I loved the narrator.
