Which scene gets you? 

There are a couple that are semi-scary, but omg, Gage running at the semi truck and his mom being unable to get to him. I can't even. I got goosebumps just thinking of it. 

We've looked at beautiful houses, but if they have a big front yard and are on a busy road? Nope. I could never let my guard down for one second. This scene just haunts me.

    The semi-truck scene for sure almost gave me a heart attack.
     
    Honestly, the teenage kid freaks me out more than anything else in the movie, so any scene with him I can't even look at the screen. His face will be forever imprinted in my brain.

    For me it's when evil zombie Gage slices that guy's achilles tendon when he steps up close to the bed. I've never been able to step by a bed without worrying that a little zombie is going to run out and slice my ankles. 

    The semi-truck scene ALWAYS makes my heart stop too, though.

    Yeah, I've had an achilles-slicing fear since then too.

    Maybe this was actually scarier than I give it credit for.

    There IS a scene where I usually burst out laughing:  When Gage gets stabbed with the needle at the end and says, "No fair!"

    I barely remember anything about this book (I probably read it 20 years ago), but this scene is in my head for all of eternity.  *shudders*
