DH came home. I had my phone in my hand a certain way so I got a picture of him walking in the door. He had picked up dinner so he put it on the counter and gave me a kiss and went to say hi to the dog. Then I pointed to the box on the dining room table. I was like "you didn't tell me you were getting a package. I thought it said my name so I opened it. sorry"
DH: "I didn't order anything, I don't think"
Then he opened up the box and started digging through the packing stuff. The he saw the card that had his name on it. "thanks babe"
Then he opened up the card, he read the first line, "OH MY GOD! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" He came over and gave me a hug and kiss. Went back to the box and pulled out the onesie and kept saying "OH MY GOD ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!" He kept coming over to me and kissing me. The dog is barking no knowing why both of us are crying. (well DH was teary eyed).
After he got it all out of his system, he was like "damn I got so excited I didn't even read the whole card- I'll read it out loud now" Then he started to read it out loud and got choked up all over again.
In the many many years that DH and I have been together, I haven't really seen him get all emotional like that. I was shocked because he's not one to cry. So when he got all teary eyed I lost it.
Ofcourse when he saw the test he was like "are you sure its positive? the second line isn't as dark as the other line" and i explained to him a line is a line.
So the reveal went off well!
TTC for 18 months. IUI #1 BFP= EDD 5/23/14. Progesterone Suppositories and Levothyroxine started. First U/S 9/27

And I love your dogs confusion. Lol
Pregnancy has really brought out a different side of my DH too. I can't wait to see how much more he changes when she gets here.
