I feel like I am at war!

So we found this perfect townhouse. It has a basement, garage, and fire place. It also has 2.5 baths. We fell in love with the house, and the neighborhood. We put in an offer 10,000 less then asking. They called back yesterday saying there was another offer on the house, and is this our finale offer. YIKES! So the asking price on the home is 149,900. We put in an offer of 151,000 with 5,000 down, and 5.000 back at closing. We still have not heard anything yet. Please pray that we get this place! After our last house failed the inspection, I will be so heart broken.

We were out offered...again! So we are now on plan C and put in an offer on our close second choice. Fingers crossed

Plan C (our third times a charm) is a success! I am so happy! Our offer has been accepted! It does not have the fireplace or the basement or garage. but it does have brand new stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and nice stone floors in the kitchen!

Me too! We are now just wiating for the seller's to sign the agreement then I will set up the inspection. I sent over the Escrow check this morning. So, we are just waiting for the sellers. I hope that they hurry up!

I think the second time around you know the process and what to expect. I know when we made our first offer, we were so nervous. They did not accept it. When we put an offer on the house that we ended up buying, we were so calm.

Yes, I am definetly very calm right now. But at the same time I am anxious, and ready to get this over with. Two o'clock can't come quick enough.

I've found that the waiting is the worst. I was super nervous driving to our inspection (our first) and now we're waiting on the appraisal to happen. I've been most nervous about the appraisal because I've heard that VA appraisers can be really finicky. We don't know when it is. I'm sure your inspection will go great!

We are moving into a townhouse/condo and for these types of homes they are already VA approved so thank god we do not need to worry about that! Our house passed inspection with flying colors! Our move in date is October 18th!
