Anyone know if we're getting an Ikea?

I had heard a rummor about a year ago that we would be getting one at a certain location (I forget now) but when I looked into further I found out that the answer was no.  From what I understand, Ikea is not currently expanding/building new stores in North America.

   Sigh. So sad.

Well darn.  Thanks though.  I've never been to one of their stores, but I love a lot of the items on thier site and it seems like most of it is quite inexpensive.  Someday when we go to CHI again I'll have to check it out in person.

The rumor was in Brentwood, and Fenton, but they went to KC instead. Boo!

I recently heard on the news that they may build on over by "the mills". I love that store. It's affordable and good quality. Can wait for it to be completed.

If I'm not mistaking there's on in Illonois but it near Chicago. You can check the website to get the address.
