We're going to a wedding on Saturday and I finally found a dress. This is the dress ( though I don't think the pictures do it justice):

I'm planning on red jewelry and want to do red shoes. What kind of shoes?  I don't have a pair, I'm just wondering what style to go with. It's an outdoor wedding.

Re: NBR: Shoe Help

  • I think I'd do a classic red pump like option A.

I love the first ones. I think the others are busy and might take away from the pattern on the dress. Plus, I really love a classic red pump.

    It's slippery as waterweed.
  • I also vote A, although C could work as well.
  • Definitely A. Everything else is just too much and would clash with the dress, and I totally agree with MrsJenE, a Pee Toe version of A, would be awesome.
  • I like option A

  • Am I the only one who likes B? That's my vote.

    I wrote this!
  • I prefer B. More minimal so the dress can stand out, will make your legs look longer and leaner, and they have a little glitz. I think it's a little dressier and more wedding appropriate.
  • I would go with the classic pump with a peep toe!

  • How outdoorsy are we talking? I'm concerned for C if you're on grass/dirt for long. My vote is A but agree with PP that a peep-toe version of it would be best.

That's what I was thinking too but apparently we are outnumbered in our thinking!

No idea really.  It's 3+ hours away so I have no experience with the location.

  • Having been to too many "outdoor" weddings that meant standing in grass for far longer than I anticipated, I'd go with a flat or a wedge -- if only to avoid sinking into the grass.

But if that's not a concern, I'd go with A.

  • A or B. I think B is minimal, so it'd be fine and delicate. A is more vibrant & I envision chunkier jewelry- it depends on the style you want.

  • I like B and D.

I like A but they are a little too "office" like.  C are just too prom-ish.

B are nice and minimal and will not detract from the dress

    and

D are the wedding equivalent of A.

  • A are awesome and would be a wonderful addition to your closet.  I would wear these a lot - to work and church and other places - and they would just get a lot of use.

B are okay for me.  I feel like you would only wear them this one time.

C I don't really like.  I'm not a huge fan of satin-ey shoes, because they get dirty easily and are a pain to clean.

D would be my personal choice for a wedding.  I would also wear these to many of the same places I would wear A.
