If you could be any literary character, who would you choose?

Re: BR Poll: Characters and You

  • Wow, this is hard! Probably Claire from Outlander or Hermione.

Hmmm, who would I choose? Maybe Alice from the Twilight series or Raisa from the Seven Realms series. Ooh, or Bella from the BDB series, strictly for all the Zsadist lovin.

  • I'm not sure who is most like me. I used to joke with my ex boyfriend that I was the Neville Longbottom of our group of friends. :)  But seriously I'm not sure.

If I could choose...I wish I was as cool as Twilight's Alice.

  • This is hard. I would say Tris Prior (Divergent) and Elizabeth Bennett (P&P).
Who would I choose? Man this is hard. I personally would want some sort of magical powers, but there are so many characters that I admired with and without supernatural powers. I think Minerva McGonagall would be high up on the list- she was such a strong, brave character and still looked out for weaker people, even when she did not personally like them.

  • I always identified with Meg March (probably because I'm the oldest of 4 girls in a not well off family growing up) and she handled a lot of things the way I thought I would.

As far as who I'd want to be? Claire without a doubt.

  • I'm probably a mix of Jane Eyre and Hermione Granger with a bit of Jo March thrown in for flair.

To be?  Diana Bishop from A Discovery of Witches.  Hell yeah!

Meg from Little Women. I'm the oldest of all of my sisters (grew up with three youngers, then later two younger step-sisters, and when I found out I was adopted I learned I have an older sister too). And a little with Katniss. I'm currently reading the series and I don't wanna give any spoilers...but in book one she really resonated with me. I would do anything for my sisters.

I would be Hermione. No question. We are a little similar. I always had books, love to learn, got good grades, always knew the answer (to shy to raise my hand though), etc.

  • Hermione.  I was the brainy girl who always raised her hand and knew the answer, always in the library. Just had a few close friends. Never saved the world from evil, though.

I guess I'd choose Lizzy Bennett. No 40 hour work weeks and having a wonderful loving husband (which I actually do. Love you, SB).

  • I think I'm most like Jessica Darling. Smart, snarky, self deprecating, and in love with a ginger.

I'd choose to be Atticus Finch. Because no one is more awesome than Atticus Finch.

Damn. Atticus Finch is pretty hard to top. ;)

Bah! Too funny. I always wanted to be Claudia Kishi!

  • I will probably get shredded for this but I really identified with Bella from Twilight. I was a lot like her when I was in HS.

Hands down I would love to be Elizabeth Bennett. She was who she was and got the love of her life just for being her.

  • I always identified with Hermione, frizzy hair and all. I was that girl in class sitting in the front row raising my hand to answer all the questions. My nose was- and is- always in a book. I'm loyal to my friends and family and put them before everything else, every time.

I would love to be like Lizzy Bennett. She's my favorite along with Hermione.
