New Orleans Trip - lots of pics :)
We had so much fun in New Orleans! I'm so tired today, but it was well worth it. The food and drinks we sooooo good and the people there are so nice and welcoming. The night life is definitely crazy and we had a lot of fun just people watching. We even saw some crazy chick just walking around completely topless like it was no big deal. It's like a completely different world down there!
Now for some pictures

This was our room. It was a very big room and we had our own balcony and it actually had stairs to go up to the balcony above us, which was my parents balcony, so it worked out nice. My biggest disappointment was the size of the bathroom; just way too small.

Our balcony overlooking Bourbon Street. The thing that's nice about the location of the hotel is that it's on Bourbon St, but it's away from the main crazyness going on which made it quieter so you could actually sleep at night.

One of the famous drinks on Bourbon Street is the Hand Grenade. It's ridiculously strong! I couldn't even finish mine, but it was very yummy!!
Me and my hubby at Pat O'Briens. I had a drink called the rainstorm and it was delicious. It was by far my favorite drink from the whole trip.
I think we all favored Mother's over all the places we ate. They serve sandwiches, fried chicken and all kinds of shrimp and crawfish plates. They are famous for a sandwhich called The Ferdi. It's a mix of baked ham, roast beef, debris (which is all the drippings from the roast beef while cooking) and gravy. It's amazing!
And we couldn't pass up going to Cafe Du Monde. They have wonderful beignets and frozen coffee. I limited myself to just one, but I wanted to eat all three!
We stopped by the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square. It's is THE most beautiful church I have ever seen. The pictures don't do it justice. It has beautiful murals painted on the ceiling and gorgeous stained glass windows (pics below). It's the oldest Catholic cathedral in use in the US.
