Banned Books Week Display

I'm working on coming up with an idea for a display in the library about banned books week.  Any great ideas?  I've got space, but limited to basic office supplies to use in the display - colored paper, printer, book displays, no budget to purchase anything extra.

Re: Banned Books Week Display

  • What kind of library are you working in, again?

I found a couple of cute printable posters on pinterest that are Hugner Games themed. (One is from the Capitol reminding people NOT to read banned books... etc.)

I'm using those, a roll of caution/danger tape I found for cheap at Michaels, and the quote "The books that the world calls immoral are the books that show the world it's own shame."

  • Last year my library had a couple of posters that they had made as well as a group of books that were banned. They had the books sealed with some kind of cardboard so they couldn't be opened. As well as why each book was banned.

  • What about something like this?

Or this (each book has a small tag on the front explaining why it was banned):
