  • It is very common. My ob doesn't even do the one hours anymore. Just sends everyone for the two hour.

Hopefully you will pass the next one. If not, it is still very possible to have a healthy mom and baby with GD diagnosis.

  • It's seriously not the worst thing even if I fail the 3 hour test - I just was not expecting it!  I know it has nothing to do with it, but I eat so healthy (pre-pregnancy and during) that I really did not even think about the 1 hour test.  I made an appointment for Friday so we shall see!

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.

  • Just remember it's not your fault.  GD has very little to do with your eating habits.  It's just something that happens.  Hopefully you pass your next one!  Hang in there!

  • Ugh, I'm sorry--you sure have had a rough week. Fx for your 3-hour test!

  • It really is a defeating feeling even though it's in no way, shape or form your fault. I ended up passing my 3 hour for what it's worth. Hoping Friday is a better outcome!
