Win: Cm is starting to look fertile! Time to get down to business!

Whine: I have this awful pulsing going on in my ear... It is so aggravating and I don't know why it is happening!

  • Whine: It wasn't even 50 degrees when I left the house this morning. I hate the cold!

Win: The cafeteria in my building had a mac and cheese bar and roasted butternut squash soup for lunch today. I have a VERY happy tummy right now.

  • Whine: I had my office door half closed #1 because I was about to eat my lunch and #2 I wanted to keep the cold air blowing outside my office outside my office. My boss just kind of walks in, sits down, and starts filling me in on the meeting she just had with her boss.  I [not so subtly] pushed my lunch off to the side. And when she left, she didn't even put the chair back where it was. In general, I really like my boss.  Today I don't.

Win: My boss's boss came in to talk to me shortly after all that and we had a good conversation, where she said, "That's a really good point." to at least three of my comments. I felt like I got a gold star.

  • Win: I think I'm going to finally have the time to put up my fall decorations tonight. YAY!

Whine: H is still wanting to go to his friends' bachelor party in Vegas next month.  So he wants me to let him know how much $$ we have and what he can spend while he's there. Which means I need to look at our vacation fund and see what's left in there. I don't want to, because I know it isn't going to be pretty (we just took our vacations for the year). But I also don't want to tell him no to Vegas, because I know he really wants to go, and it's important to his friend.

  • Win - Im looking forward to two days off next week with my honey.

Whine - The reason for this two days off is DH is having surgery that isnt major, but is major for him. Hes terrified and will be in pain, which I am not looking forward to at all.

Whine: I have a bunch of work to get done before the end of the the quarter. My coworker got married and is taking these last two weeks off (Which is awesome! Just slightly less than ideal timing. I wouldn't expect him to not take time off or anything though.)

Win: I'm wearing a scarf and boots again, and the forecast high temp is getting lower and lower, landing at 59* on Saturday - the mountains even got snow last night! I love getting my (much larger than summer) fall wardrobe out.

Geek Win: New iPhone update came out today and it's super shiny :-B

  • Whine:  I got a flat tire tonight while leaving a memorial service for my boss' daughter who passed away far too young.

Win:  A wonderful co-worker of mine was there to change the tire for me and my stepdad said he can just patch it since there is a nail in it rather than me having to buy a brand new tired...score!

  • We've been rainy. All day yesterday it was gray as could be out. If I remember correctly you are kind of northern Illinois right?
