tile and grout

Okay. Does anyone have tile in their shower? If so, how do you clean the grout? I let it get tooooo yucky (I was preggos...and then a newborn...), but it was SO bad. I used baking soda and vinegar, but I feel like there has to be a magical product? Any ideas??

Re: tile and grout

  • Oh no! I'll ask my tile installer if he has suggestions!
  • Ugh we do. It's the worst thing ever. I basically spray it down with Kaboom, let it sit, spray it again and then get a giant hard bristle brush and scrub the shit out of it. It takes forever and it makes my arms sore. If you find something easier let me know lol.

  • I've never used Kaboom. Today I made a paste of baking soda and vinegar and scrubbed the shit out of it. I was wondering if there is some magical product- because I need some magic. Big A, PLEASE do ask!!

Any ideas for hardwood? I think I have used every product and every steam cleaner and just don't seem to like any of them.

  • The baking soda and vinegar is probably a healthier solution, kaboom gives you a contact high.

    So it's a win/win?
  • I use one part dawn one part vinegar in a dish scrubber for the tile and shower door.

I think I saw on pinterest to get the long cotton ball things for sally's beauty supply and soak it in bleach and put it around the chalk part over night.
