First Appointment update
We just got back from our first appointment. We both love the doctor! I had met him before when I had my annual exam but this was DH's first time meeting him. He really took his time explaining the causes of infertility and the tests that he was planning on ordering. He also explained his plan for treatment.
Basically, he thinks I'm not ovulating as regularly or often as I should. He did some cervical cultures in the office and did a basic examination. He's ordering an SA for DH. I get to go in and get CD 21 blood work drawn (Prolactin, TSH, progesterone). Then after CD 1 I call back to have them schedule an HSG. Once he has those results then he'd like to start me on Clomid 50 mg.
I think we are both really relieved to have a plan. We're going to try to get all the testing done as soon as possible so that we can move forward. It's exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time but we're ready to go down this road!

Is he doing CD3 bloodwork as well or did you do this already?

Be aware though that CD21 bw is only worthwhile if you O on CD14, Also, did he say anything about an HSG?

IVF #1 (May 2013): Antagonist Protocol:24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
IVF #2 (August 2013): Lupron Stop Protocol:
28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
FET #1 (April 2014): transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP

@ecinereb, he didn't mention CD 3 bw. I guess maybe he wants to see the results of these tests first. He said he would see me two days after the HSG is done so maybe we'll find out more then.
@LooneyLife, he did explain about the progesterone. I guess he just wants that to confirm that I'm not O'ing at a normal time in the cycle. I'm supposed to call on CD1 to schedule the HSG.
